Arthur E. Keen

HAMILTON - Arthur Edmond Keen, 81, of Hamilton passed away at his home Sunday evening November 8, 2015 with his wife and daughter at his side.  Arthur was born in Bakersfield, California on November 17, 1933 to Clarence Courtland Keen and Janet Elizabeth Jewett. 

Arthur was sent his greetings from the draft board and entered the United States Navy in the last draft they made.  He went into the Cadet program and became a Naval Aviator.  This began a twenty year career flying the Spad, A4, A6 and Huey Helicopter.  He flew 222 combat missions in Vietnam. 

After retirement Arthur moved to Montana.  He attended the University of Montana for his Masters in Education Administration.  Arthur taught ESL in Mexico and 17 years in the States.  He was a Bible teacher and a speaker at many Full Gospel Businessmen's conferences and churches.  Arthur was a devoted husband and father.  He and his wife Sharon had just celebrated their 57th Anniversary. 

Arthur is survived by his wife Sharon and his two children, Ronda (Donald) Ross and Randolph (Anne) Keen.  He has four grandchildren, Miranda, Jamie, Zane and Luke. 

Arthur will be greatly missed by all his family and close friends.   Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the Daly-Leach Chapel.  His service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Barnabas Ministries on Fairgrounds Rd., beginning at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
