Barbara Dee (Englund) Tester

Barbara Tester, 69, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula.

Barb was born in Healdsburg, California in January of 1948.  Her Mother Doris Englund and Father Alvin Englund, also had two other children, Russ Englund and Helen Lee Wickman.

Once reaching Hamilton, Montana, she met the man she would spend the rest of her life with George Tester. After falling in love they had two wonderful daughters, Denise Senn, and Shawna Anderson.

Barb loved spending time walking around town, and every chance she got she loved spending time with her daughter Denise. They enjoyed going to yard sales or shopping at stores around town and in Missoula and going for desserts around town. She also enjoyed spending time with her cat Princess.

Barb left peacefully to be by her parent’s side on July 12th, 2017 at St. Patrick's Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents Doris Englund and Alvin Englund, and her great grandson Lokie.

Barb is survived by her husband, George Tester of Hamilton; daughters, Denise (Bert) Senn of Hamilton and Shawna (Dion) Anderson of Virginia; grandchildren, Adam Senn of Hamilton, Curtis Anderson of Virginia, Holley Gagnon of Virginia, and her great granddaughter, Calin Gagnon; brother, Russ Englund of Hamilton; sister, Helen Lee Wickman of Salmon, ID; numerous nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank St. Patrick's Hospital for all of their help and treatment of Barbara, during this difficult time.

A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
