Carl Mohn

HAMILTON - Carl Mohn, 74, of Hamilton passed away on December 30, 2016 at Saint Patrick Hospital surrounded by his family with his wife by his side. He was born in Kalispell on October 20, 1942.

Carl graduated from Darby High School in 1960.  In 1962 he married his wife of nearly 55 years, Glenda Woodward, of Victor.  Together they had six children and a foster son. 

Following graduation, Carl went to work for Del Conner/Stoltz Lumber mill in Conner and continued for 30 years.  He has been at Industrial Lumber Sales in Hamilton for the last 25 years. Carl was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many leadership positions.

When Carl wasn't working to support his family or serving the members of the church, he was attending one of his many grandchildren's sporting events or other activities.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Ruby Mohn of Darby; brother, Larry; sister, Carol Bush; infant son, Jason; grand-daughter, Brittany; and son-in-law, Roy Breault.  Carl is survived by his loving wife, Glenda; his children and spouses, Marvin and Estela Mohn of Houston, TX; Kila Breault, Brad and Krista Mohn, Brian and Teresa Mohn, Wayne and Melia Mohn, and foster son Rick Licklider all of Hamilton. Carl was also blessed with numerous grandchildren .

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Daly-Leach Chapel.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Pine Street in Hamilton.  Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton with a reception following at the church.
