Laurie,
Working in the Bitterroot for 25 plus years, I had to opportunity to meet many wonderful people. You and Fred were two of my favorite. You lived life exemplified by your honesty, concern for your community and neighbors, and love of the outdoors. Fred and I had many a business talk, I was the one to benefit as these were usually not about business but about values. Fred had a high set of values that he shared with me about all aspects of his life. It was about doing the right thing. I will always remember Fred as a tough, focused, hard working, gentle man. I feel blessed to have met him, been his friend and business associate.
Laurie,
All my best to you and your family.

Bob Hayes.

Fred always was such a gentleman. When I babysat the kids he always drove me home and walked me to the door.
