Joseph Earl Felber

CORVALLIS – Joseph Earl Felber, (Ret. Col.) 86, of Corvallis passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital.  He was born June 19, 1929 in Detroit, MI the son of Joseph and Anna Felber. 

            After high school, Joe attended Ferris State University before graduating with his degree in accounting from the University of Miami.  Joe served 2 years in the United States Army before beginning his career with the United States Air Force.  Joe retired as a Colonel after 22 years of service in 1974.  He then worked for 10 years as an accountant for Consumers Power in Midland, MI.

            Joe enjoyed golfing, hunting, music, politics and sports.  He is survived by his wife, Ann Felber; 3 sons, James (Michele) Felber, Jason Felber and Jeff Felber; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

            Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Corvallis Cemetery.
