Hamilton - June Marie Coleman was born on September 26, 1935.  June was welcomed into heaven on March 7th, 2017 to once again be united with her mom, Kay, her dad George, her son Robert, and all her beloved animals.

June was born in Oakland, California and spent most of her childhood in San Pedro. She and her first husband, Tom, raised their four children in Lynwood, California. She worked at Weiser Lock for many years prior to moving to Hamilton, Montana.

June met her husband, Ron, square dancing.  They married shortly after and loved traveling to many square dancing events. They enjoyed their life together in Hamilton for 17 years.

She took pleasure in collecting dolls and making jams.  June was known for sharing her jams and baked goodies with her family and friends. She won several ribbons and awards at the Ravalli County Fair for her sweet treats and crafts. June looked forward to her road trips to California to visit her daughters and grandchildren with her bestie Joanne.  One of their favorite hangouts was Disneyland.

June was known best for her love of animals, whom she fondly referred to as her "Babers". She often said she was put on this earth to take care of animals.  She volunteered frequently at the human society, bringing food and toys.  There wasn't an animal she didn't want to love, hug, feed and take home.

She is survived by her husband Ron Coleman, her sister Yvonne Fagen, her three daughters, Cheryl Manarino, Laura De Loach, Gina Simms, along with her sons-in-law, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and her very best friend in the world, Joanne Nielsen.

Her laughter, sense of humor and smile lit up a room.  Her love of all God's creations was always present.  She loved being surrounded by the mountains, lakes, rivers and found beauty in every aspect of nature.

She will be laid to rest with a beautiful view of the Bitterroot Mountains at a private burial in Hamilton’s Riverview Cemetery.

In honor of her memory, her family welcomes donations to the Bitter Root Humane Association.

She will be forever loved and always in our thoughts and prayers.

“Heaven is the place where all the animals you ever loved come to greet you.”
