Such a special lady, Leora Bowdino. She was a true testimony of the beatitudes of God's word, she was so loved by my family and I. I looked at cards she and Charlie sent over time addressed "to our other daughter", it was such a blessing to know both of them. I have missed them. Will always treasure times like Sunday breakfast pancakes on the wood fired stove. A sister and brother that have gone on to the Lord, We will see you again one day. Our condolences to the Bowdino family. WInona, Karista, Britton and Kaylee

Truly one of the dearest ladies I've known. Her gentle sweetness, sense of humor and loving spirit will be sorely missed. The lights in heaven are shining a little brighter for her presence there.

A very special neighbor and lady. Kind, giving and so unselfish. She truly stored up her treasures in heaven and we pray she is enjoying them now.

Our deepest sympathy to the Bowdino Family. We are so thankful that Leora had a saving relationship with our Saviour Jesus Christ, and that you will all one day see her again as your family is reunited in Heaven. We are sorry to be unable to attend the services. We will keep your family in our prayers. Blessings.

Our deep condolences on the loss of your mother but rejoicing that she is Home with the Lord. We have many fond memories of all the help we got when we were neighbors and coworkers at Talita in NE Brazil. We learned a lot from them as we adjusted to a new culture and the work there. We so enjoyed stopping by to see them when we were in the US on furlough. They didn't really live on the way where we were traveling but it was worth the trip to see them and visit and learn some more. They were special people and dear friends. May God comfort your hearts as you say "till we meet again".

Oh precious Leora! How we loved to sit and listen to the stories of Charlie, your early married years, your love for Brazil and most importantly your love for our Lord. You were a strong woman with a gentle spirit, laughed at adversity and welcomed everyone into your home with such graciousness. You are truly going to be missed on this earth but, you lived and loved faithfully beyond most and Heaven has welcomed a true faithful servant. Your closing prayers at Bible Study always left us awed at your ability to simplistic and yet filled with the true Spirit. Forever missed and forever loved! Until we meet again in Glory! We love you!!1

Prayers to the family at this time. Leora and Charlie were such special people to us. We loved visiting with them and really miss that. It's nice knowing though that they are "together again." We have some really good memories from our time with them.
