Uncle Mike was an Inspiration to me and I'm sure to all who knew him. I first met this remarkable man at 15 and knew immediately the character and Honor of this man. One whom I tried to emulate in my life. A man is supposed to leave the World better than he found it. He did this in spades. I've been blessed to have this man to look up to and in my life. I for one will surely miss him and his example of how to be a man....

Mike was always a kind and friendly person. We had the blessing of visiting with him when we visited Ruth's parents, and had the opportunity to sit and chat as he shared his life story. He shared a table with Andy and Naomi, and they counted him among their friends. RIP Mike.
