CORVALLIS – Roy A. Robbins, 62, of Corvallis passed away Tuesday, December 06, 2016 at the Marcus Daly Hospice Center with his family by his side after a brave and courageous battle with cancer.  He was born July 8, 1954 in Redwood City, CA the son of Harold and Charlotte (Sipos) Robbins.

Roy was raised and educated in California and graduated from Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton, CA.  He married the love of his life, Donna, on January 26, 1990 at Lake Tahoe and they remained together until Roy’s passing.

Roy was a recovering addict for the last 29 years.  He truly enjoyed volunteering at the jails and helping those with addiction problems.  Roy loved promoting and talking about recovery.

Roy also loved to play hockey, in which he played goalie, and golf.  He was a lifelong fan of the San Francisco 49ers, the San Francisco Giants and the San Jose Sharks.

Roy and Donna moved their family to Montana in 2006.  He loved and adored his wife, his kids and his dogs.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Hal Spade.  He is survived by his loving wife, Donna of Corvallis; his children, Justin Robbins and wife Jennifer of Stockton, CA, Daniel Robbins of Oakdale, CA, David Robbins of Corvallis and Amanda Robbins of Corvallis;  his brother, Dennis Robbins of San Jose, CA; and his grandchildren, Lexie Robbins of Modesto, CA and Caleb, Brooklyn, Emma, and Ethan Robbins all of Stockton, CA.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Corvallis Cemetery.  The family asks that everyone dress in warm and casual attire.
