William "Bill" Gene Norbury

HAMILTON – William “Bill” Gene Norbury, 78, of Missoula passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at St. Patrick Hospital.  He was born January 15, 1938 in Corvallis, MT.

            Bill was an avid hunter, fisherman, husband, father and grandfather.  His love for the outdoors was great, but not as great as the love he had for his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth, and his children. 

            Bill would always wake up hunting camp with a pot and spoon yelling, “Free Cola.”  To the great white hunter and his Gibbs, hunting camp was the place to be in the fall.  His famous line was, “Shoot today and kill tomorrow.”

            Bill is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; 2 children, Don and wife Janette and Lori and husband Doug; 5 grandchildren, Benny, Wendy, Alex, Casey and Amber; and 3 great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Lucas and Alissa.

            Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Corvallis Cemetery.
