Allen Lee Collier

POTOMAC – Allen Lee Collier, 68, of Potomac passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.  He was born April 24, 1949 in Ventura, CA the son of Paul and Mary Ellen Collier.

Allen was raised and educated in Oregon.  After high school he spent many years as a Timber Faller in Oregon.  Allen then served as a police officer in Ronan for 11 years.  He finished his working life as an Iron Structural Foreman on the North Slope in Alaska, retiring in 2004.

Allen married Lou Collier on July 6, 1978 in Reno, NV and together they had 4 children.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 siblings.  Allen is survived by his wife, Lou, of Potomac; 4 children, Tony Collier and wife Vaun of Charlo, Pam Collier of TX, Brenda Boyd of Frenchtown and Niki Powell and husband Andrew of California; 2 sisters, Christine Clark of Oregon and Paula Benson and husband Bobby of California; his good friend, Cookie, of Potomac; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
