To Jim & Family-
While I have never met you, I grew up with Carole in Mandan and we were part of the 1st Presbyterian Church Youth Group and the "infamous" square dancing club in our younger years. Carole and I reacquinted after all of these yerars in 2016 when Cousin Nancy (Toman) Patterson and husband, Jerry, were there to visit with you at your home. I feel blessed to have made contact with Carole again. My younger brother, Dr. Lee Toman, has a little place just over the hill from you on the Big Hole River near Wise River. We were going to get together the next time that I made the trip to Montana from Colorado to visit. I am deeply sorry that it didn't happen. May God be with you as I am sure that Carole is in a better place.

Such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady. I will remember her joy for life. Skiing, swimming, her love for Hawaii and especially loving her family! I will miss "catching up" with her at our birthday parties. I am so sorry for your loss! I know it is tremendous!

One has only to look at the kindness and compassion shared among her children and grandchildren to recognize that Carole's legacy of love lives on in her family. Our son traveled to Montana a number of times with the Kalab family, and Carole's already-filled grandmother arms stretched to pull him into her warm home and heart as well. She will be greatly missed, but we are grateful for her wonderful life and for her lovely family.
