Dorothy West

Conner - Dorothy West, age 83, of Conner passed away Monday, September 23, 2019, in her home surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born June 5, 1936, to Bill and Florence Wolfinbarger, in Conner, Montana. Conner was home to Dorothy for all but three years of her 83 years. She graduated from Darby High School in 1954.

After high school she completed one year of Dental Assistant schooling. Dorothy met and married Smoky West.  She loved the Lord, gardening, and the great outdoors. She had a kind heart and a generous spirit. She was quick to smile or lend a hand. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Florence Wolfinbarger; and her brother, Philip Wolfinbarger.  She is survived by her sister, Jane Stettner; brother, Tommy Wolfinbarger, of Darby; daughters, Doring Boggs, of Darby and Pamela Tinker of Washington; grandchildren, Alissa Hamby, of Corvallis, Shannon Knight, of Grantsdale and Derek Tinker of California; great-grandchildren, Logan Riggs, Aiden Shelton and Orion Barkow all of Corvallis.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 30, 2019, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 684 E Miles Ave, Darby, MT.  Please join the family for a potluck reception in the Clubhouse following the service.  Dorothy will be laid to rest immediately following the reception in Lone Pine Cemetery.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
