Edith Janet Caywood Obituary

Edith Janet (van Scherpenzeel) Caywood passed away November 11, 2019 at BeeHive Homes of Hamilton. She was born June 23, 1923 to Robertus and Edith (Watson) van Scherpenzeel in Choteau, Montana.

She graduated from Teton County High School, attended Madison Business College, Madison, Wisconsin, and married Richard Perry. They had two children, Fredrick R. Perry of Kalispell, MT and Patricia Ann (Jerry) Dowd of Florence, MT. She later married H. C. Caywood and that marriage ended in divorce.

She is survived by her two children, two granddaughters, three grandsons, two great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert van Scherpenzeel; and sisters, Katherine Runkel, Wilma Jensen, and Alice Truchot. Cremation has taken place and urn placement will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements were made by Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
