Hamilton – George John Karpati, 71 of Hamilton passed away Sunday, March 18th at The Living Center in Stevensville.
George was born April 7, 1946 in Nagykanicza, Hungary to the late George and Rosalie Megyesz Karpati. He served in the US Air Force for 4 years, stationed in Bermuda and graduated from San Diego State University.
George married L. Marie Karpati on July 3, 1976. He was a member of the NRA, American Legion and Treasurer of the local and state Constitutional Party.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an aunt. George is survived by his wife and only surviving relative, L. Marie Karpati.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. April 6, 2018 at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Missoula with honors presented by the US Air Force and the American Legion.
