Jack Eric Thompson

HAMILTON - Jack Eric Thompson, 32, our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed too soon in the early morning hours of June 19, 2019 due to complications from Type 1 Diabetes.

Eric lived his life for the outdoors and fed his soul under the big sky.  He loved rock climbing, hiking, camping and simply being in the nature of God’s country whenever possible.  Eric literally wore his heart on his sleeve and loved his family, friends and two dogs with everything he had.

He is survived by his grandparents, Jack and Helen Thompson; parents, Jack and Linda Thompson; siblings, Ashley, Brent, Kelsey and Spencer as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Eric was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Aunt Sandy and Auntie Gail.

All who knew him are welcome to Daly-Leach Memorial Chapel on Thursday June 27, 2019 for an open house of memories and music.  Please join his family anytime between 1 and 3 pm to share in remembrance of Eric.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Eric’s name to DOGS4DIABETICS, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or The Bitterroot Humane Society.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
