James “Jim” Walton Jr., 69, of Hamilton, Montana passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at his home. He was born James Thomas Walton Jr. on August 1, 1948 in Watsonville, California to Edith Mae Bloomquist and James Thomas Watson Sr.
Jim grew up in Salinas, California graduating from the Ashland School for the Handicapped in 1966. He worked as a librarian in Milpitas, California for 20 years. He was active with VFW Post 589 in Salinas, California and the Eagles in Hamilton.
Jim is preceded in death by his wife LeAnn Walton, mother Edith Walton, sister Charlotte Milay and nephew Jeffery C. Hall.
He is survived by his father; James T. Walton Sr. of Hamilton, MT, brothers; Craig Walton of Hollister, CA, Chris W. Hall of Corvallis, MT, and Tracy Hall of Hamilton, MT. Sister-in-law; Vicki Hall and lots of nieces and nephews.
At the family’s request, there will not be any formal services held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Riders Post 91 in Corvallis, Montana.
