Jerry Lee Parker

Hamilton, MT- Jerry L. Parker of Hamilton passed away May 5th, 2017 at Marcus Daly Hospice Care Center following a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

He was born May 21, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA. to the late Colonel Lucius and Pauline Gates Parker. He was raised in Manhattan Beach and graduated from Mira Costa High School and the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He was a good man, a gentle man and a true patriot.

He will be terribly missed by his wife, Carol Drake Parker, three children, Stacy (Brian) Burd, Gretchen Parker and Scott Parker; four stepchildren, Mike Erlinger, Steve Erlinger, Megan (David) Persichitte, Jennifer (Darrin) Devereux and seven grandchildren. He also leaves behind his very spoiled four legged pals.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Discovery Care Center and the caring staff at Marcus Daly Hospice Center.

A family Celebration of Life will be held this summer at the family home beside his beloved Skalkaho Creek in Hamilton, MT.  The family suggests that memorials be made to the Bitterroot Humane Association, 262 Fairgrounds Rd, Hamilton, MT or the Marcus Daly Hospice Endowment Fund, 1200 Westwood Dr., Hamilton, MT.
