Katheryn “Kathie” Gauthier, 76 of Victor passed away Saturday, June 9th at her home in Victor.
Kathie was born October 18, 1941 in Shawnee, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Richard and Enna Scheel. She graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle and attended the University of Washington.
On August 22, 1980, Kathie married William A. Gauthier. The couple made their home in Soldotna, Alaska where she owned and operated the family café. She was also a bookkeeper at Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. Kathie also worked as an office manager for an Orthopedic Surgeon in Soldotna, AK.
She is survived by her husband, William A. Gauthier of Victor, MT; son, Richard (Gloria) Judd of Tacoma, WA; daughters, Carol (Phillip) Thompson of Lake Stevens, WA., Diane (Derek) Sinclair of Edmonton, AB; step-daughter, Jennifer Jo (Gene) Webster of Irasberg, VT; grandchildren, Christina (Mark) Hoekendorf, Katelyn (Ricky) Ivelia, Gage Sinclair, Alexandra Sinclair, Cole Sinclair; great grandchildren, Brock and Alia Hoekendorf and Richard Ivelia.
A Celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 15th at the Bitterroot Valley Calvary Chapel with Pastor Dale Lewis officiating. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
