Linda Jean (Fryberger) Johnson

GRANTSDALE - Linda Jean (Fryberger) Johnson, 72, of Grantsdale, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, August 19th.  She was born on September 4, 1944 in Denver Co.

Linda lived in Colorado until she moved to the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in 1988. In 1989, she met her soul mate, Farrell Johnson, and later married him September 21, 1993.

Linda had a unique fondness for beauty in the smallest to largest thing in nature, which was shown in her gardening and love of many pets.  Linda was an exceptional cook and enjoyed making large amounts for the family gatherings.  Her other love was showing and caring for the sheep her and husband owned. Baking Christmas goodies and cookies was always something she looked forward too.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, T.O and Lenore Fryberger; her brothers, Orvin Fryberger and Noel Fryberger; and her amazing husband, Farrell Johnson.  She is survived by her sister, Leanna Jewell; brother, Robert Fryberger; her four children, Dave Beedy, Kathleen Pedersen, Janet Raymond, Dianne Burkhardt; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, all of whom loved her deeply and were deeply loved by her.

Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian church in Hamilton Mt at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017, with reception following at the church.  Interment will take place at Riverview Cemetery.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
