Corvallis - Mark D Rapson, 62 passed away Wednesday January 1, 2020 at his sister’s home in Corvallis, Montana. Mark was born on October 5, 1957 and served as a Sargent in the US Airforce, specializing as an Avionic Inertial and Radar Navigation Systems Specialist. During the 1980’s, Mark worked as the Chief Engineer for KPAX TV in Montana. He later relocated to Florida where he served as Vice President of Engineering for ION Television Networks (formally Paxon Communications). Mark was generous, caring, and was respected by many in the television broadcast industry. He found peace riding his motorcycle, golfing and walking along an ocean beach.
Mark is proceeded in death by his parents Dorothy and Morris Rapson and survived by his wife Patricia; stepchildren Lauren and Nicholas Covalle; sister Kathleen Nagy-Coy, her children Alex and April Nagy; brother David Rapson, his wife Paige and their children Bryce, Reagan, and Chloe.
