Michael James Vieyra

Michael J. Vieyra, 91 of Stevensville passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Discovery Care Center in Hamilton.

Michael was born May 8, 1928 in Los Angeles, Ca to the late Guarino and Natalie Vieyra.  He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served with honors, fighting in the Korean War. He married Carmen Villarreal and the couple was married for 62 years at the time of her passing. 

He is survived by his children, Mona Villa, Mari (Steve) Wright and Mike (Linda) Vieyra; 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. July 20, 2019 at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.  Military honors will be presented by the US Marine Corps, Marine Corps League – Bitterroot Detachment and the Hamilton American Legion.
