Junie and I will cherish our surprise visit to see Uncle, Aunt Dolores and Joy Lynn, June of this year. We had such a great time sharing stories and adventures we have had in past years! Uncle and I would have contests in years gone by on who would come back to camp with the largest fish...I remember bringing back, which I thought was a great rainbow trout, about 16" long. I showed the fish to Uncle and was so proud because I knew I'd beat him. He said to me, "that's a beauty, Gar", but I think I got you beat, he reached behind him and pulled out the biggest rainbow trout I'd seen, it was 21" long!!! He beat me again....He was definitely a great fisherman!! Before Junie and I left to drive back to Vegas, just after one of the best Father's Day ever, which was also June's Birthday, the 18th, we shook each others hands and it seemed like Uncle didn't want to let go, he just shook my hand with a strong grip for the longest time and his eyes never left mine....I think he knew then, that it was probably the last time we would see each other. Junie and I exchanged hugs with Aunt Dolores and Joy Lynn and left with a heavy heart. Our visit was truly one that we will treasure forever. I will remember him from our recent visit to his home in April. His concern for our travels with some snow on the mountains was very touching. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to his lovely home in Montana. I dearly love his sweet daughter, Joy, and her lovely family. My condolences, love, hugs , and prayers to the family
