CORVALLIS - Timothy John Mavros, 50, of Corvallis passed away suddenly March 31, 2018 at his home. He was born July 26, 1966, in Hamilton the son of Arthur and Jean Mavros.
He attended elementary school and high school in Corvallis. Tim lived in Mesa, Arizona for a short time where he learned the trade of fiberglass technician. He was an extremely fast learner and good with his hands. Tim built boats, jet engine parts and parts for race car bodies. He had British and American masters of this trade astonished at his abilities, fast learning, willingness to work and extreme patience. Tim was also an artist.
Tim will be remembered his loving, laughing and quiet demeanor. He was a quiet man and very soft spoken, never bragging, and had a heart of gold. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. He will always be our son, brother and friend.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Art Mavros; brothers, Dan and Joe; and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Jean Mavros of Corvallis; brothers, Jamie of Victor, Rob (Jodie) of Darby, and Dave (Debbie) of Hamilton; his sister, Rosalie of Missoula; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Corvallis Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
