William F. "Bill" Broderson

CONNER - William (Bill) F. Broderson, 67, of Conner, MT passed away Sunday June 23, 2019 at home holding his wife, Laura Orr’s hand and surrounded by family and friends.  He was born Aug 21, 1951 in Belmond, Iowa, the son of Eugene and Lucille (Haack) Broderson.

Bill was raised throughout the Northwest and settled in Ely, NV in the 70’s.  In 1995 he moved to the Conner, MT area.  Bill was a wood worker by trade and worked as a cabinet maker.

Bill loved to fish and go camping and was an avid shooter.  He loved music and was in a band in his younger years as a Bass player.  He also loved playing the Acoustic Guitar and dabbled in writing his own music and lyrics.

In December of 1998 he met up with Laura Orr in Ely, NV and she moved to Conner, MT with him in October of 1999.   Here they made their home together.

Bill is survived by his wife, Laura of Conner; stepson, Pasqualli (Buddha) Locke of Darby; sister, Lucia Grant of Spring Creek, NV; brother, Robert and wife Kathy of Spring Creek, NV; brother, Jake and partner Becky Tharp of Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews.

The Family invites you to remember Bill at the BBQ Fundraiser at the Valley Bar in Darby, MT on July 27, 2019.   Horseshoe Tournament registration starts at noon, game at 1.  BBQ will start serving at 2.  The 50/50 raffle will draw at 5 or after Horseshoes, which ever is latest.  The silent auction will go on all day and close as the evening winds down.
