Adam H. Senn, 89 of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Valley View Estates in Hamilton.
Adam was born in Glen Ullin, ND to the late Adam and Veronica Senn. He attended Grantsdale School and Stevensville High School. He worked for Hamilton Floral and Grantsdale Cheese Factory. Adam served as a Corporal in the US Army's 77th Infantry in World War II. He earned the Purple Heart in combat on the Island of Okinawa. Following the war he worked for the Railroad, White Pine and Sash Co., was a self employed farmer, drove truck for Medoland Dairy, Ham-Mont Eggs and worked for the Stock Farm.
Adam married Bertie Encoff on April 4, 1952. Adam had many hobbies which included, football, chess, cribbage, bowling, golf and gardening. He liked to make gardening tools and enjoyed fishing on Flathead Lake with his close friend Merlin Madsen. He also enjoyed playing cards, dancing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Victor, Tony, Joe, Val and Leo.
Surviving are his wife, Bertie; daughter, Kenda; son, Ken (Susan); sister, Josephine Raabe of Seattle, WA; brother, Ralph Senn of Roseburg, OR; grandchildren, Bryan Barenburg, Caleb Senn, Ryan Senn, Marcie Cardenas, Vikki Johnson; 6 great-grandchildren.
The Pallbearers are Ken Senn, Bryan Barenburg, Caleb Senn, Ryan Senn, Bert Senn, Adam Senn and Charles Jennings.
The family suggests memorials to the Bitterroot Humane Society.
