Albert "Glenn" Jackson

Hamilton - Albert "Glenn" Jackson, 87 of Hamilton passed away October 12, 2009 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital.
Glenn was born July 16, 1922 in Hollis, Oklahoma to the late W.J. and Rosa Lee Jackson. Following High School he entered the U.S. Marine Corps in 1942. He served as an Aircraft Instrument Mechanic in the South Pacific from September 1943 to October 1944. He was discharged at the rank of Sergeant on October 25, 1945. He was a civilian with the Air Force from 1945 to 1974 when he retired to Hamilton. Glenn owned and operated Glenn's Gems from 1977 to 2004.
Glenn married Vivian Laube on June 12, 1953 in Reno, Nevada.
He enjoyed working with antique clocks and designing jewelry.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving include his wife Vivian of Hamilton; daughters, Dianne (Jeff) Hoffman of Hamilton and Shari Jackson of Denver, CO.; numerous other family members.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, Montana Chapter, 3010 11th Ave. North, Billings, MT 59101.
