Alberta Thurston Gillespie

Alberta (Burroughs) Thurston-Gillespie, 70 of Darby passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
She was born June 29, 1944 in Sheridan, Wyoming to John and Birdie Burroughs. They moved to Butte, MT. Alberta was adopted from an orphanage when she was 13 by Sully and Ann Thurston of Radersburg, MT. She attended school at Radersburg, MT and Townsend, MT.
Alberta married Robert Gillespie on December 20, 1963, they have 3 children, Robert, Tammy and Tina. She loved fishing, especially at Georgetown Lake. She was an avid bowler and story teller. She also enjoyed crocheting.
Surviving include her husband Robert A.; children, Robert G. Gillespie (Sheena Loughman), Tammy Gillespie (Jerry Trowbridge), Tina Gillespie (Violette McFarland) and Cheryl Gillespie (Patrick); grandchildren, , Julie Gillespie, Jennifer Gillespie, Michael Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Cody Fisher and Kayden Loughman; great grandchildren, Madisyn Gillespie, Hayden Gillespie, Destiny and C.J. Gillespie, Katelyn, Zack and Hanna Johnson, Jakayla and Kaylee Johnson.
