Alexander "Joe" Clemans

Alexander Joseph Clemans “Joe”, 84 of Wisdom passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at The Living Center in Stevensville, MT.

Joe was born April 2, 1932 in Harlowton, Montana.  He married Barbara Rasmussen June 4, 1960.  The owned the Wagon Wheel Bar in Jackson, MT and he worked for the Beaverhead County Road Dept.  He was an avid hunter and trapper.  He had lived in the Big Hole Valley for over 60 years.

Joe is survived by his wife, Barbara of Wisdom, MT; daughters, Susan (Phil) Thompson of Kennewick, WA. and Jolene (Jim) Linscott of Dillon, MT; 3 granddaughters and 3 great granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 13th at the Wisdom Cemetery in Wisdom, MT.  Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.

The family suggests memorials to Wisdom Fire and Ambulance.
