Allan Louis Jessop

February 7, 1973 — March 17, 2016

Corvallis - Allan Louis Jessop finished his ride on earth at his mom’s house surrounded by many loved ones. No one loved life more or fought harder through the pain than he did. No one really knew how sick he was or how much pain he experienced-because if you asked his response was always “I’m fantastical.”

He was born to Lou and JoMay Jessop February 7, 1973 in Salt Lake City, Utah and life for the family was never the same. Allan brought with him a warm smile, a zest for life, a positive attitude, and an unmatched love and devotion to family and friends. Allan’s family moved to Montana when he was 19 and that only added to his cowboy ways. Allan loved horses, branding, lassos, guns, mending fences, good whiskey and everything else a good cowboy stands for. He had a knack for storytelling, a little irreverent and always full of humor. He could impart saying that could be thought provoking and insightful and then turn around and say something to bring a chuckle to the seriousness of a situation. There was never a dull moment with him around. We want to thank him for his unconditional love, the happiness he shared with us and his unwavering companionship. He made a difference. His gift to us is his fighting spirit, his desire to stay with us, his excitement at being a grandpa, and his determination to remain positive regardless of the circumstances. He is having a joyous reunion with family members he hasn’t seen for a while and he finally gets to meet his mother-in-law. Allan was an example of the extraordinary beauty in a simple human heart.

He leaves behind his faithful, caring wife Holly, their children Wyatt, Rebecca and Dusty, his loving mother JoMay, and many brothers and sisters.

We invite you to celebrate his life with us Saturday March 26, 2016 at 11:00 at Daly- Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Viewing will be Friday 6-8 PM and Saturday 9:30-10:30. He will be laid to rest in Pinesdale next to his dad.
