Amelia Bedey, long time resident of Hamilton died Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Discovery Care Center in Hamilton.
She was born in Klein, Montana July 29, 1912 a daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Hosner) Meznarich.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank W. Bedey Sr.; son, Frank Bedey Jr.; two brothers and four sisters.
Amelia is survived by her son, Robert E. (Bob) Bedey of Hamilton; daughter-in-law, Bette J. Bedey of Hamilton; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She loved to play pinochle and was a great cook and baker. She owned and operated the Range CafAC. in Hamilton for several years with her sister Ann Barcellos. She was an active member of the Eagles, Rebecca's and the Moose Lodges.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 18th at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton followed by a reception in the community room. Private family interment will take place at the Riverview Cemetery in the spring.
Our family wants to thank the staff at Discovery Care Center for Mom's compassionate care and also our special friend Birdie Sherman.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Shriners Childrens Hospital in Spokane, Washington.
