Amy Penner Stroud

Missoula, Montana - Amy Penner Stroud, 79 of Missoula, MT passed away May 19, 2009 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
She was born October 7, 1929 in Norwich, CT to the late Rev. William and Sara Penner. She graduated from Gould Academy in 1947 and Baldwin Wallace College in 1951.
On July 12, 1952 she married John Irving Stroud, the couple celebrated their 50th anniversary in Bethel, ME.
Amy taught Kindergarten in the Pennsauken NJ school system for 26 years. She was active in the international host family programs at the University of Montana and Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Gertrude Brown Innis and her brother Dr. William Penner.
Surviving include her husband John Irving Stroud of Brunswick, ME.; daughter, Sandra L. Stroud of Raymond, ME. and son William (Janice) Stroud of Victor, MT.; granddaughter Jade S. Furtado of New York, NY.
