Arlene Marie Bedey

Arlene Marie (Puccinelli) Bedey, 75, of Hamilton, a former homemaker passed away Thursday morning after a long and courageous battle with congestive heart disease.

Born on June 12, 1935 in Anaconda, Montana to Reno and Mary Puccinelli, Arlene graduated from Anaconda Central High School in 1953. On May 17th, 1958 she married the love of her life, Bob Bedey of Hamilton at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Anaconda. They shared 52 happy years together and raised three children.

Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family, fondly remembering vacations on the Oregon coast, and days spent with friends at holiday bazaars or luncheons. She took pride in her flowers; enjoying their beauty from her backyard gazebo and front porch swing.

An active member of St. Francis parish, Arlene was known for her generosity and compassion. Many charities benefited from her support.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Bob of Hamilton; two daughters, Barby and husband Dick Judge of Dillon; and Janine and husband Jeff Unruh of Lolo; and son, Mike and wife Amy of Kalispell; eight grandchildren; her mother-in-law; one sister and brother-in-law, and five brothers and their wives all of Anaconda; and one special sister-in-law, Bette Bedey of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters. two brothers, and father-in-law.
