Arthur Thomas Day

Hamilton- Arthur Thomas Day, 73, of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.

Arthur was born on January 23, 1943, to Arthur and Burneal Day in Choteau, MT. He was married to love of his life, Lynda (Clark) Day, for 53 years. They have two sons Shane and Todd Day.

Arthur loved to drive trucks and operate heavy equipment. He spent fours year working on the Alaskan Pipeline and many years doing construction.

Arthur loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, boating, and riding motorcycles. He was passionate about his many dogs he and Lynda shared.

Arthur was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and a great friend to all. He will be missed but never forgotten by many.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, son Shane Day, and a few aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife Lynda Day, son Todd Day, brother, Wayne Day, sisters, Yvonne Clay and Adele Poltl, uncles, Bob and Ronnie Sangray, nieces, Gwen and Amanda, and grandchildren, Dylon, Cassidy, Madilynn, Taylynn, Bentley, and many other caring friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 31 at Daly-Leach Chapel. A reception will follow after the service in the Daly-Leach Community Room.

The family requests donation to be made to the Bitterroot Humane Society and in Lieu of flowers be made to Daly-Leach.
