Hamilton – Arthur F. Ensley, husband of Delores (Shook) Ensley died at 4:20 a.m. October 15, 2015.

He was born in Okanogan, Washington the only child of Frank and Vergie Ensley.  He entered the US Navy at 17 as an enlisted man, working his way through the ranks to Lieutenant Commander.  Art served in the Korean, Cuban and Vietnam conflicts and served as Captain of the USS Polk County.

Art’s second career as a truck driver prepared him to work as a driver for Victor Schools and the Disabled American Veterans after he came to “Retire” in Hamilton where Delores was born.

Their children are Mark and Philip Ensley of California, Becki Titeca and Anna Lyons Tripp of Montana; 9 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Big Sky Baptist Church in Hamilton.  Military honors will be presented by the US Navy, Marine Corps League – Bitterroot Detachment and the Hamilton American Legion.
