Avis Marie (Alberg) Olsen

Our precious Mom and Grandmother, Avis Marie Olsen, 92, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2017 at Marcus Daly Hospital.

Avis was born on October 17, 1925 to Jacob G. Alberg and Anna A. Alberg.

She is survived by her son, Dane Olsen; son, Jack (Bonnie) Chapman; daughter, Dona Scofield; son, Skip (Debbie) Olsen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren all whom she loved dearly.

Avis’s accomplishments in her life are too numerous to mention.  She loved working with her late husband Oris Olsen in the American Legion advocating for Veterans, spinning wool, weaving, knitting, history, gardening and most of all her family.

A graveside service will be held at the Pinesdale Cemetery on Tuesday, November 21st at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Morry Jessop.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
