Superior - Benjamin Ralph Simkins, 57, of Superior passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
He was born October 31, 1957 in Missoula to the late Gene and Gwen Simkins. Ben graduated from Superior High School and attended the University of Montana.
He married Paula Jean Frizzell Simkins. He worked at Grapevine Furniture and also worked as a logger. Ben enjoyed wood art, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brian Simkins.
Surviving include his wife Paula Simkins; sons, Nick (Cassie) Simkins and Travis (Kassie) Simkins; grandchildren, Braden, Brently, Kylie, and Kali; nieces and nephews, Shawn, Kyle, Chris, Larry, Syleena, Brandon, Dustin, and Shelby; brothers and sisters, Becky (Dale) Magone, Bonnie (Larry) Mitchell, and Gary (Teresa) Simkins; 15 great nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
A public memorial and potluck will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., Lozeau, MT., 1857 Quartz Loop, Superior, MT.
