Bernice E. Thompson

STEVENSVILLE - Bernice E. Thompson, 106, passed away July 10,2010. Bernice was born on Nov. 9 1903, grew up on Rattlesnake Creek, near Missoula. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Mae Dayton, Victor, Mt. and Betty Henderson, Spokane, Wa,.15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and
16 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband John B Thompson and daughter Louise Powrie.
Bernie was always cheerful and happy, loved the outdoors, sledding in winter and hiking in summer. Her greatest joy was fishing which she enjoyed into her 100's.She will be remembered by her grandchildren as the fun grandma.
She lived all her life in Montana and Idaho,and raised her family in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
