Bernie Mogensen

HAMILTON - Bernie Mogensen passed away on June 2, 2021.  She was born 7/7/37 to Clarence and Esther Bussey in National City, California.

Bernie was raised in southern California and Nevada and moved to Utah in the mid 60's.  There she met Paul while working as a secretary at the Bergin Mine in Eureka, Utah.  They were married in 1969.

Paul and Bernie traveled much of the world exploring mining districts and she used her quick wit and wisdom to share stories.

Bernie was an excellent cook and party hostess.  She was a very talented artist of many, many varieties and was always experimenting with new tools and styles.  Bernie was a long time facilitator of Bible Study at Calvary Chapel and spent much time preparing for the weekly meetings.

Surviving Bernie are her husband of 52 years, Paul; daughter, Barrie and husband Tom; son, Kurt; and granddaughter, Dana.
