Berny S. Preuss

Berny S. Preuss, 83 of Hamilton passed away of Lung Cancer, Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
Berny was born November 25, 1928 in San Luis Obispo, California the son of the late Bernard and Ruth V. Preuss. He graduated from San Luis Obispo High School. Berny then served in the Army in Korea. Following his military service Berny attended San Jose State Junior College.
He was a third generation Journeymen printer in California. He retired in 1984 to spend time traveling with Arlene prior to marriage. Berny married Arlene on June 18th, 1988.
Bernie was an active and dedicated member of A.A. for 43 years touching many with his dedication to the program. He was an avid fisherman.
- He is survived by his wife Arlene of Hamilton; sons, Gary Preuss of Santa Ana, CA., Mark Preuss of Shelby, MT.; step-daughter, Cheril Munson her husband and family of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
- A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 4th at the Daly-Leach Chapel with Pastor Mick Gray officiating. Private family urn placement will take place at a later date.
