Bettie "Marie" Paddock

HAMILTON - Bettie "Marie" Paddock, 80, of Hamilton passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at her home. She was born March 30, 1932 in Conner, MT the daughter of Richard and Betty Shook.
- Her earliest memories are of the Vance Claim and building of the West Fork Dam. Marie went to Overwich School and graduated from Darby High School with honors. She married Herbert "Bud" Paddock on July 30th, 1951. Together they traveled all over the United States. Marie returned to the Bitterroot Valley in 1969 where she worked for Dr. Arvish for 17 years.
- Marie is survived by 2 children, her son, Richard Paddock and her daughter, Sherry; her son-in-law, Ron; 3 sisters, Jewel Pinnochi, Margaret Roth and Vivian Stewart; her grandchildren whom she held very dear to her heart, Scott Dunlap, Elishia Dunlap, Zhaun Paddock, Stormy Flinders, Kitrina Paddock, Doug Paddock and Jessica Paddock; and 8 great-grandchildren.
- Marie has now left to join her late husband, Bud and her son, Bruce Paddock.
