Bob (Robert) Allen Wall

CORVALLIS - Bob (Robert) Allen Wall, 70, of Corvallis died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, of natural causes at Valley View Estates in Hamilton. He was born Oct. 15, 1941, in Hamilton, MT to G. Roy and Lucy Jane Bennett Wall.

Bob was raised on the family ranch east of Hamilton and attended Hamilton schools. In 1962 he began working in the logging division in Bonner, Montana as a log truck driver. He stayed with Anaconda until they sold to Champion Inc. In 1966, Bob was drafted into the Army and served for two years.

In 1986, when Champion phased out its logging operations, Bob bought a dump truck and began his own business in the Bitterroot Valley.

He married Marva Morris Talbot and lived in the Corvallis area where he enjoyed working in his yard and growing a garden. His favorite past time was spending time with friends, family and grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Marva; parents, G. Roy Wall and Lucy Bennett Wall; and sisters, Vesta Cook and Shirley Houldson.

He is survived by his step-daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Allen Dukelow; grandchildren, Kim and Marc Copps and Chris and Raychel Dukelow; great-grandchildren, Genesis and Preston Copps, Aydon and Malekai Dukelow; brothers and sisters, Elmer of Corvallis, Roy L. of Missoula, T Dee (Carol) of Florence, Marian Thurman of Juneau, AK, Ronald of Old Town, Idaho, Edward (Trudy) of Thompson Falls, Delbert (Janet) of Hamilton, Dena Pamin of Clinton and Randy of Helena; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
