Bobbie McCauley January 12, 1926 - August 29, 2023 Bobbie was born in Chicago to Robert Taylor and Alma Carroll Bailey. After college she became a flight attendant for United Airlines, retiring for love in 1950, to marry Robert Parish and move to the California Bay Area. There she gave birth to her son, Ty and her daughter, Nancy. She later married Frank McCauley and spent 43 wonderful years with him, calling his three sons, Craig, Kirk, and Kevin, her own. Bobbie and Frank set their home base in Hamilton, MT in 1976, but also traveled profusely in their motorhome, visiting people and places, and enjoying life. Frank passed in 2017. Bobbie was an artist. She painted, crafted, cooked, and took great pride in the homes she designed for herself and Frank. She loved golfing, reading, hiking, dancing, antiques, dinnerware, high heels and all of her pets - from chihuahua to horse. Most of all, she loved entertaining all of her wonderful friends! Bobbie volunteered at Marcus Daly Hospital Auxiliary (Bitterroot Health), and helped found the Bitterroot Humane Association. "I choose not to have a funeral. My wonderful family and friends have shown me such love and care, I need no more, and I thank you! Should you choose to make a memorial, the BRHA would please me." Sorry, Mom. We are gathering! Celebration of Life Service: Monday, September 18, 1pm, at Bitterroot Humane Association. 262 Fairgrounds Road Hamilton MT. Come celebrate Bobbie's life and take home some secret family recipes! A special thank you to Bobbie's neighbors and caretakers: Mark Mora, Bill Becker, Becky Lelleck, Christine Coffin, and Layna Lyons.
