Bret Anthony Barney

CORVALLIS – Bret Anthony Barney, 60, of Corvallis passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at his home.  He was born October 7, 1958 to Charles and Helena Barney in Anaconda, MT.

Bret was a kind-hearted, generous man who loved everyone.  He briefly served in the U.S. Army and we thank him for his service.  Bret married Barbara Raines in 2002 in Helena.  They enjoyed 14 years working, enjoying the outdoors and being together before he got sick with COPD 4 years ago.  Barbara was his caretaker during this time and she will miss him dearly.

Bret was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.  He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, of Corvallis and his sister, Loreli Barney of Anaconda.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Corvallis Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
