STEVENSVILLE - Bridger Lee Myers-(Reeves), age 10, received his angel wings and his "golden ticket" to go meet our heavenly father and maker on June 21, 2014, from injuries sustained in a very tragic ATV accident. Bridger Lee was born in Missoula to Andrea J. Bunnell and his step-father John D. Reeves at Community Medical Center in Missoula on February 2, 2004.
Bridger was the most angelic blessed son any mother could ever have asked for right from the beginning. He was close to the Lord from day one, and renewed my sense of being able to be a successful parent and human being every day with his positive outlook on life. Bridger loved everyone and had a very hard time that life was NOT fair and that things often HURT more than they ever should. He embarked early on in his young life strong morals and values, and was extremely loyal to himself and his beliefs. He believed in staying positive, making someone's day better and "Paying it Forward." One of the many gracious random acts of kindness he loved to secretly practice was to feed the parking meters downtown or help at rescue shelters for homeless pets. Our son had a soft emotional side that sometimes made navigating the ugliness of the outside world difficult. These are the beautiful qualities of this amazing sensitive boy none of us ever wanted to see change because there is NOT enough of this in the world today; and it will be these things that will be the hardest for us to go without in our daily journey here on earth.
Bridger was a very head strong young man, wise beyond his young years. He was thoughtful, would give you the shirt off his back, always lending a helping hand wherever needed. He impacted all of those he spent his precious young life around... HE was VERY accomplished this year in Tae Kwan Do. Primarily fighting out Hamilton Tae Kwan Do Dragon Brigade. Bridger earned his spot on the traveling team this year which was a big deal for our son. He did exceptionally well and brought home several first and second place trophies ..( Bridger," We are so stinking proud of you son, you are ROCKSTAR forever.") Bridger Lee's other passions in life were being in the outdoors. He loved to hike, camp, fish, and bonfire! His favorite place here in the valley would have been Skalkaho. Bridger couldn't go too far without his last few things in life and those would be his beloved dog 'Skeeter', his obsession with CANDY, and of course VIDEO GAMES; "Mind Craft" in particular.
Bridger Lee was the 'luckiest' kid in his book if you actually ASKED him. Bridger was blessed by a very large, loving, and 'blended' family. Bridger is survived 'locally' by his mother Andrea J. Bunnell and her partner John L. Fair; siblings, Carter J. Reeves and Madison J. Lepiane. Bridger's uncles are Derek L. Bunnell of MN and Douglas B. Bunnell of AK., and his Grandparents, Ruth Ann and David Bunnell of Charlo and Tammy and Tom Fair of Hamilton. Bridger enjoyed very much spending special weekends with his great-aunt, Jennifer Carter when she took all his first cousins and even some close friends and turned her house into "Camp Carter."
Bridger's dad is John Tracy Myers and his wife is Robin Myers, and Bridger's brothers are lssaac and Damian Amezcua of Stevensville. Bridger's Aunt, Julie Myers of Missoula, Mike Myers of Missoula. Bridger's Grandparents on this side include: Joanne Myers and Jamie and Tom Davis of Stevensville.
Bridger's LOVING Step-Father of all TEN YEARS is John D. Reeves of Corvallis. Bridger's Aunt and Uncle Melissa and Mike Reeves of Stevensville as well as their son Paul Reeves, Bridger's first cousin, who ALSO attended Stevensville elementary with him. Bridger's aunt and uncle, Mary Ann and Bill Semple of Ohio.
Bridger Lee was beyond blessed with many first cousins traditionally by 'blood', and by our well blended family here in the Missoula area as well as the Bunnell family in Ohio. Bridger has so many cousins and loved ones that we could not possibly list you all. Bridger loved hard, and was loved just the same back; and he knew that right to the very last moment... and for that our family is MOST GRATEFUL!! Bridger Lee will be welcomed home by his grandmother, Dana J. Bunnell; grandmother Jeane Carter and his great-grandparents on the Bunnell side as well as his grandma, Cassie Reeves.
Daly-Leach Chapel has done an amazing job of handling the arrangements, and is being assisted by Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville. Bridgers physical body has been cremated and will be laid to rest in a private service next week at Riverside Cemetery in Stevensville. In lieu of flowers, we humbly request that donations be sent to First Interstate Bank, c/o Bridger Lee Reeves. There has been a memorial trust fund set up at the Hamilton Bank Branch, however any First Interstate Bank branch will accept donations. The remaining 'trust balance' after memorial expenses will be used for ATV helmet and awareness laws, and for one or more of Bridger's favorite 'no kill', non-profit animal rescues locally in his honor.
-- Bridger chose to be Happy and positive...so can you!!! He believed that being NICE to people would be a great legacy to leave behind.. He also collected "MOMENTS" .... Not things.... "The best things in Life, aren't really THINGS ."
And-Last-But not least
''""'" SOMEDAY!!! Is NOT a day of the week !!!''"'
