Bruce Alan Huls

May 14, 1951 — November 5, 2010

Bruce Alan Huls, 59 of Corvallis, went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2010. He was surrounded by his family.
Bruce was born May 14, 1951 in Hamilton, MT to David and Jennie Huls. He was a life-time Bitterrooter operating and working the family farm near Corvallis. He was happiest when he was hunting, hiking, camping, fishing or playing with his grandkids. The mountains was where he truly loved to be. He also loved spending time riding his motorcycle with his wife Pat.
Bruce graduated from Corvallis High School in 1970 and attended Northern Montana College where he played football.
Bruce was a member of the Corvallis School Board for 15 years, a member of the Corvallis Community Church, and a board member of the Corvallis Canal.
To Bruce life was simple. Love your wife and kids with all you have. Then, find more and love the rest of your family without excuse. Appreciate all the blessings that you have. Always remember that being alive is not all there is to living.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Pat and their three children; Becky and husband Sean of Bozeman, Connie and husband Chris of Bozeman, and Drew and wife Lindsay of Corvallis. His greatest joy was being Papa to his three grandchildren, Connor, Kaylee and Claire. Bruce is also survived by his mother, Jennie Huls Read, his brothers Dan and wife Joan, Tim and wife Trudy, Jeff and wife Julie and Chris and wife Ginny. Nephews Dave, Marjorie and family; Brody; Jonathan, Brenda and family; Aaron; Spencer, Katie and family; Amos and Meredith; Shane; Matthew, Meredith and family; Josh and Jennifer; Jim, Lisa and family; John and Adri; Jayson and Calee. Nieces: Sarah, Jeremy and family; Crystal and Brad; Kate; Amber, Mark and family. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Naidine York, John and Kathy Wood, Jim and Glenda York, and Maureen and Ralph Monhay, Aunt Peggy and Jim and all of his cousins and Nashville families. He also had many dear friends and "sweethearts."
He is preceded in death by his father David, his sister Julie, father-in-law Jim, and his grandparents Spencer and Marie Huls and Martyn and Pearl Richards.
Bruce was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
