Carla Rae Reich, 69, of Corvallis, MT, passed away on August 28th, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Carla was born on January 18th, 1957, in Missoula, MT to Ben and Lois Willi. In her early life she lived in Alaska with her parents while they were mining. She also lived in Wyoming for a brief period of time. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1975. In 1976 she married Michael Sands and they moved to Evanston Wyoming. On June 6th of 1978, she gave birth to her daughter Tara Sands. Upon Michael’s passing she moved back to Hamilton Montana. On September 24, 1983, she married Darrel Reich. The following year she gave birth to their son Bobby Reich. Carla has had a love for horses and most animals all her life. In 2003 Carla and Darrel purchased Memories Cafe in Corvallis MT. She enjoyed running the restaurant up until her retirement in the fall of 2020. She and Darrel have enjoyed their retirement and traveling for the last 6 years.

Carla is survived by her husband Darrel Reich and their children Tara and Bobby (Amber), and their grandchildren Mikka (Bodee), Kahle, and Jackson. Her sister Jeanne Burruss, niece Sandy (Mike) and nephew Gary (Kim) Burruss and many other various family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com
