Carla E. Stuart, 70 of Drummond passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
Carla Elmira Stuart, born on the 18th of November, 1954, in Hamilton, Montana, was a resilient spirit whose life was defined by her courage, love, and an enduring sense of joy. Carla, known for her infectious laughter and her ability to turn any difficult situation into a moment of growth, not only survived but thrived in life. She was a woman of many talents, her interests ranging from crocheting to gardening, cooking, and crafting. Her love for these hobbies was equally matched by her dedication to serving her community. As a valued member of the Drummond Town Council, she worked tirelessly to make her town a better place for everyone. Carla was a loving mother, a doting grandmother, and a caring sister. She was the comforting aroma of a home-cooked meal, the warmth of a crocheted blanket on a cold winter's day, and the strength and resilience of a well-tended garden. Her family was her heart, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her joy. These familial bonds were the core of Carla's existence, and she nurtured them with the same love and dedication she put into every meal she cooked. Carla is survived by her children, Angelina Lowe, Dennis Stuart, and Heidi Roberts, who will forever cherish their memories of her. She also leaves behind her siblings, Loraine Greene, Bobby Willingham, Michael Knez, Rodney Stuart, and Larry Stuart, Pennie Rother and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, who will continue to celebrate her life. Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Charlotte Stuart, and her sisters, Mary and Margaret Stuart. Carla’s spirit, courage, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all the people whose lives she touched. We invite all who knew and loved Carla to share their memories and photos on her memorial page. The stories and images of her life and the love she shared will serve as a lasting tribute to this extraordinary woman.
