Carol May (Curtis) Monson

Hamilton - Carol May Curtis Monson, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in her home.  She was born on June 12, 1939 and is survived by her husband, Dewey and 9 of their children: Deborah, Jeanette, Anne, Laura, Aaron, Rachel, Sarah, Isaac and Ruth.  She was preceded, in death, by three of her children, Jonathan, Paul and Andrew in 1969.

Carol was known by most for her kindness, compassion, and her love for children of all ages.  She spent most of her life taking care of her family and felt it was one of her most important roles.  She was a gentle soul who loved gardening, reading, and church.  Those who knew her will remember her love for the gospel and for her Savior, Jesus Christ.  Her faith and devotion defined her life and her actions in every way.

Services for Carol will be held at the chapel in Pinesdale - 222 E. 18th St.  A viewing for the family will be from 9am to 10am, viewing for all others will be from 10am to 11am.  Services begin at 11am.
