Carol Taulman

Carol went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Carol was born Oct. 11, 1937 in Hamilton, MT. She graduated from Hamilton High School. Christmas Eve 1958 she married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Darryl Taulman. They made their home in Hamilton. Carol worked for Mountain Bell in Hamilton for 25 years. She later became "chief accountant" for their family business "Taulman Inc." She was irreplaceable; she had a great talent for keeping everything in order and accounted for.

Carol was loved by all. She had a quiet gentle spirit, and was always smiling. She was full of adventure and fun. As long as Darryl was with her she was willing to try or do anything. They loved to ski, fish, explore by motorcycle, boat, and plane. They had many exciting adventures, and even if they ended with a mishap she was still smiling. You might say Carol was always a "Good Sport".

She had a great sense of humor, which was a necessity being married to Darryl. She loved being his wife and making a special home for him, taking care of their horses and dogs throughout the years. Even near the end she was more concerned with others than her own comfort. She will be greatly missed. All who knew her will remember her for her warm smile and her ability to see beauty in the things around her.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Darryl; sister in law, Bonnie (Russ) Zacha; Niece, Edel (Pat) Howard; Nephew, Alan Zacha; numerous great nieces and nephews. many, many, many great friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harley and Ethel Howell; and her brother Richard Howell.
